Sawtell The Best Little Place on Earth

Ok, we may be a bit biased but Sawtell may just be the best place on planet Earth! But don’t take our word for it come and check it out. Sawtell is packed full of everything AND absolutely nothing which is why it is such a little gem.

If you are the sporty type then there is no end of things to do. Staying right on Sawtell beach is highly recommended, that way you can step out of your accommodation and onto the golden sand to start your day. The surf in Sawtell is fantastic and depending on the wind you will always find a great little, or sometimes big wave.. you will never go without. There are so many beautiful places to just swim and relax in the water as well. There is of course Sawtell main beach which is manned by life guards so no probs for little kids. For more peaceful waters, without waves, there is the bay area, the lagoon that runs out at the south headland and also the Sawtell rockpool on the southern headland as well, Southies to the locals.

Ok, so your over the beach and want to do something else, well take a 5 minute walk, depending on the direction you take you will either hit the Sawtell 18 hole golf course, the Sawtell tennis club, or for a slow pace, the Sawtell bowling club. That is the beauty of this little place, it is little, but it is also SO big with things to do and we haven’t even started talking about the main street yet or absolutely nothing!  We’ll leave that for next time.
